Our History
There are places where the Camino de Santiago is felt in a special way.
One of them is Paradela , in Galicia. Here, at kilometer 100 of the French Way , thousands of pilgrims begin the final kilometers towards Santiago de Compostela.
It is a territory of forests, rivers and viewpoints overlooking the Ribeira Sacra, where time seems to move more slowly and traditions remain alive.
Very close to here, in the old monastery of Loio , the Order of the Knights of Santiago was born in the 12th century, created to protect the pilgrims who traveled the Way.
In this land full of history , Ultreia – Flavors of the Camino de Santiago was born.
Ultreia is a traditional expression of the Camino that means "to go on" , to take one more step towards the goal.
Inspired by that spirit, we created a collection of gastronomic packs that bring together some of the most authentic flavors of Galicia , made by small artisan producers who keep our traditions alive.
Each box brings together carefully selected products: honey, preserves, sweets, liqueurs and Galician specialties that represent the character of this land.
